Panel with individual designs quilted in each petals.

Quilted on longarm.

Tiny Town 

This is a Sarah Fielke pattern.  I loved the thought of rows of tiny houses.

Houses were English Paper Pieced and then appliqued to background rows.  Trees were freezer-paper appliqued.  

Heavily custom quilted on Longarm.    

Won 2 blue ribfons at the 2024 Paris Quilt Show (Texas)

Small World

This is a Wendy Williams pattern made during The Quilt Show's  2021 Block of the Month.

The Eiffel Tower, Big Ben, Space Needle, and One World Trade Center make up the 4 corners.

Techniques used include freezer-paper piecing, machine piecing, and needle-turned applique.

Free Motion quilted on a Bernina Q20.    

Won Eiffel Award & Third Place at the 2024 Paris Quilt Show (Texas)

Gypsy Wife 

This is a Jen Kingwell pattern that has been recently renamed to Wanderer's Wife.

I loved the idea of bright colors with black & white strips in the background.

My first attempt at Free Motion and Ruler quilting on a Longarm.    

Posies 

This was made using Amy McClellan's Tessie pattern but with added elements.  

All needle-turn appliqued.

Quilted on domestic sewing machine

Beads on a Wire

This pattern is Orange Dot Quilt's 'Beads on a String'.

Each 'bead' was made with improvisational piecing.

Quilted on longarm.
