Longarm Pricing

We know how much work is put into making your quilt top and are pleased you are looking at us to help you put on the finishing touches. We currently offer two levels of quilting services. All of our prices are based on the size of your quilt and charged in square inches. To find the total square inches of your quilt follow the formula listed below.

                   Length(inches) x Width(inches) = Total Square Inches

For example, if you have a quilt that is 80 inches long and 65 inches wide you  would input this into the formula:  80 x 65 = 5,200 Square Inches. Multiply the square inches by the quilting price to get your total Quilting Cost.

Edge 2 Edge – We offer Edge 2 Edge computerized quilting which will provide you with a wide range of designs to choose from.  Basic Edge 2 Edge starts at .025 cents per square inch.  High density Edge 2 Edge starts at .035 cents per square inch.

Custom-  We also offer custom quilting.  This is priced on a case-by-case basis and starts at .085 per inch.

Thread – We stock Glide 40w thread in a variety of neutral & popular colors. We use the same color thread in the bobbin and top of quilt. Specific colors are available upon request, but may affect the turnaround time.We have a flat rate thread charge of $7.00 for quilts under 7500 square inches and $9.00 of anything beyond. This includes both your top thread color and your bobbin thread color.

Minimum Quilt Charge – There is a minimum charge of $50.00 per quilt

Additional Charges & Services:

Backing – Customers supply their own backing. Backing it needs to be at least 4 inches wider than your quilt top on all sides. Fabric for the back should be of high-quality material; if not we will contact you about purchasing or providing new fabric.

Non-Cotton backings, i.e., Fleece, Minky, Cuddle, Snuggle, Flannel, etc., we have a surcharge of $15.00 due to the difficulty of working with this type of material.

Batting – You are welcome to provide your own batting.  All batting needs to be 3 inches wider than the quilt top on all sides. We do offer Hobbs 80/20 Cotton/Poly batting at $15 per yard.

Pricing example:  shortest side of quilt is 56” + 8” = 64” / 36 “ in a yard = 1.78 yards

                                 1.78 x $15= $26.70

Binding Service – If you hate binding your quilt, let us do that for you! We offer three different binding packages. Prices are based on the size of your quilt and charged in linear inches. To find the total linear inches of your quilt follow the formula listed below.

            Length(inches) + Width(inches) x 2 = Total Linear Inches

For example, if you have a quilt that is 75 inches long and 85 inches wide you  would input this into the formula:  75 + 85 = 160 x 2 = 320 Linear Inches.  Multiply the linear inches by the binding price to get your total Binding Cost.

Shipping:

  • We are located in Pottsboro, Texas, and would be happy to receive your top and backing by mail.
  • We recommend sending your materials enclosed in some kind of sack or bag to protect against possible moisture in transit and then placed in a hard-sided cardboard box.
  • Make sure the box is securely taped and labeled clearly. Hard sided boxes are recommended over soft envelope mailer due to potential damage to soft packaged when they are sent through sorting machines.

Return shipping:

  • We will send your quilt back to you in the manner described above via USPS Priority mail (using flat rate when possible/economical). Priority mail comes with $50 of insurance and a tracking number but please indicate on your intake form if you would like me to buy any additional insurance on your behalf. It's a great idea to insure your valuables against loss or damage while with the Postal Service, but I don't require it.

Payment:

  • Payment is due once work is completed.  We will email you an invoice and we appreciate timely payments as that enables me to mail your project back to you right away.
  • Payment is accepted via Venmo, PayPal, credit card online, or cash.
